Meet the wedding party
The Bridesmaids

Vivian Cheng
Maid of Honor
When it came time for Nicole to choose her Maid of Honor, it was, “Finally! An easy task!” Nicole and Vivian met in college at UGA, where they studied violin together with Dr. Heald and performed countless concerts on the same stage. However, it wasn't until Nicole's final semester of college when she needed a short-term place to live, that she ended up becoming the best of friends with none other than Vivian. Between watching re-runs of The Office, crafting tiny Christmas ornaments, or practicing violin duets until 1 am, Nicole and Vivian's friendship became one that lasted past that final semester and into the next 3 years of Nicole living long distance in Texas. Proof lies in the 1,100-day Snapchat streak the two held as a way to keep up with each other's daily lives! Vivian is a friend who will always show up for you, take the time to call or write a sweet letter and make you feel celebrated. The honor belongs to the bride to have Vivian standing by her side!

Eve D'Agostino
Bridesmaid
You have never cackled as hard as when you sit down with Eve and listen to her tell a story. Eve can be talking about anything - from moments shared as college roommates for 2 years to true tales on the floor as a nurse to the famous missed notes during orchestra rehearsals with Mark Cedel staring you down - Eve will capture your heart, soul, and laughter with her beautiful energy. Nicole and Eve lived together for 2 years in college at UGA, shared a love of the violin, and mastered the art of playing Dots side by side on the couch in their apartment after a long day of classes and rehearsals. Eve has a heart of gold, and she will always be the first one to stand up for you, speak up for you, and listen intently. Nicole and Eve will get to celebrate 10 years of friendship in addition to this special day!

Laurel Haislip
Bridesmaid
Have you ever met someone and within the first few seconds of meeting them, you think, “Oh she's going to change the world.” No? Then you haven't met Laurel. Another iconic UGA pal, Nicole and Laurel met in 2014 and instantly their friendship sparked through yet another tie to the violin and the countless hours of orchestra rehearsals that come with the territory. Aside from some powerful section-leader goddess energy coralling the rest of the violins to make it through Mahler, Laurel always carried herself with dignity, class, self-respect, and a strong knowledge of self-worth. She is a wonderful friend who has inspired so much in Nicole, who was always down for breakfast at Ike and Jane and will forever be a treasure in Nicole's life. For the 2 short years until Laurel graduated, these two ladies stormed the practice rooms and danced away the wine nights in their kitchens! What a joy it is to have Laurel as a friend and bridesmaid!

Carolyn Pennington
Bridesmaid
While Georgia holds many of Nicole's dearest friendships close, the 3 years spent in Austin, Texas were truly made wonderful when Carolyn moved to town from New York. Nicole and Carolyn first crossed paths as coworkers while working as a music therapist and art therapist, and between serious clinical discussions and even more serious days hosting a famous talk show, Nicole and Carolyn quickly became pals. The two shared a love of cheese boards, tiny clay earrings, creativity, and roasting in the Texas sun at Barton Springs Pool, where many summer weekends ended with pure joy and one too many Hotel Vegas margaritas! Moving across the country to a city where you do not know anybody is hard - and Carolyn's friendship turned Austin into a place of unforgettable memories, love, and joy. This bridesmaid team wouldn't be complete without Caro!

Emily Rubin
The Officiant
What a true honor it is to have a dear friend who would stand by your side to marry you to your best friend. Emily, the world's greatest officiant, is wrapping up the bridal party with a very special role. Nicole and Emily first met in 2016 while working on waterfront staff at Camp Twin Lakes - the most magical place on earth! Emily led the lifeguards as waterfront director extraordinaire, danced and sang and jumped for joy (maybe a bit deliriously) with Nicole after 18-hour days at camp, and even gave Nicole her very first pothos plant after a beach trip the following summer. Little did she know this tiny gesture would grow into a not-so-tiny plant obsession and a friendship that blossomed from camp friends to long-distance friends to coworkers and back to friends living across town from each other. Nicole and Chance are incredibly excited and honored to share this special day with Emily by their side, helping them say the best two words in the English language… “I do!”
The Groomsmen

Amir Hessabi
Best Man
Not just Chance's college roommate turned best man, but the guy who's been there through it all. Amir and Chance clicked on day one as computer science majors under Dr. Anthony, pledged to the same fraternity, and even shared a roof during a transformative summer internship. When COVID hit, they found themselves roommates again, turning uncertainty into cherished memories. And let's not forget Amir's love for Rumplemintz – a constant source of hysterical laughter and good times. Grateful to have him as the Best Man, standing by my side as we embark on this next chapter.

Cody Hebert
Groomsman
Chance celebrates the inclusion of Cody, not just as a groomsman but as a brother from the same pledge class in their beloved fraternity. They transcended the bounds of campus life, sharing the same address at The Lido Deck for two unforgettable years in college. Taco Tuesdays became a sacred tradition, along with Cody's incredible family gumbo recipe. I am thrilled to have Cody as part of the wedding party, celebrating past 9:11 PM!

Matheus Gubel
Groomsman
The original fiend, Matheus and Chance first crossed paths in 8th grade in Mrs. Richters' English class. They quickly became friends after playing Counter Strike Source and other PC games. Despite Matheus' moves to El Paso, Arizona, and California, the bond endured, fueled by shared gaming adventures. Matheus also led Chance to dive into the world of 3D printing, a decision well worth it. Beyond gaming and printing, Matheus showed Chance how to lose a fishing pole and get 3rd-degree sunburns using tanning lotion, as it has some SPF. Thrilled to have one of my longtime friends as a groomsman!

Andrew Valerioti
Groomsman
In the brief time Chance has known his brother-in-law-to-be, every interaction has been a glimpse into how hilarious and kind he truly is. From shared laughter to the non-quiet moments, he effortlessly makes Chance feel apart of the family. I look forward to him being my brother-in-law!

Marley
Best Cat
Chance met Marley on Nicole and Chance's third date. Marley was very skeptical of Chance but quickly learned that Chance is calm and cuddly. When Marley is not hopping on Chance's desk during meetings, she is usually bitting and clawing at his feet. Even though she is the naughtiest of cats, I am happy to have Marley as the Best Cat. (Unfortunately and fortunately, she won't be at the ceremony.)
